Chapters fund project with Wyeth awards

Each of the four AAP chapters which won a 1985 Wyeth Outstanding Chapter Award has chosen to spend the award in a different way.

The New Jersey Chapter is using the grant toward the purchase of a computer, which will be operated by the chapter chairman to increase communication between the local and national levels of the Academy.

The Mississippi Chapter plans to sponsor an art competition with the Wyeth grant, giving a $1,000 prize for the best artwork depicting an infant-child theme. The chapter then will donate the winning artwork to the Mississippi Museum of Art.
