AAP, American Baby to publish national child health magazine

The Academy and American Baby magazine are launching a new national magazine called Healthy Kids, to be distributed free to parents through AAP members' offices.

The first issue of Healthy Kids, designed for parents of children aged birth to three years, will debut in January 1989 with an estimated circulation of 1.5 million. Three issues will be published per year.

"This magazine is a natural extension of our public education goals and our longstanding relationship with American Baby," said Steven Shelov, M.D., FAAP.
