Vancouver idyllic setting for sports medicine CME courseAllison BondVancouver will host the "PPC Sports Medicine" conference June 19-22 at the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown in British Columbia, Canada. The city's natural landscape provides an enjoyable setting for shopping, dining and recreation. The conference is an opportunity for primary care practitioners to learn a practical approach to both musculoskeletal and medical issues in youth sports medicine. The course presents material in a variety of formats, including plenary sessions, case-based discussion, question-and-answer sessions with the faculty, and hands-on workshops. The topics have been selected to help pediatric health care providers improve musculoskeletal examination skills; learn how to prevent, diagnose and manage sports injuries and medical conditions; and address hot topics in sports medicine and fitness.
