Fitness ballsThe U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. For a complete list of recalled products, visit www.cpsc.gov.Units: About 3 million Bally Total Fitness, Everlast, Valeo and Body Fit fitness balls. Manufacturer: EB Brands, of Yonkers, N.Y. Hazard: An overinflated fitness ball can unexpectedly burst while in use, causing the user to fall to the floor. Description: Rubber fitness balls were sold in 55-, 65- and 75-cm diameter sizes in various colors with the Bally Total Fitness, Everlast or Valeo logo printed on the ball. Balls came with a pump and inflation instructions. Sold at: Department stores and fitness retailers nationwide from May 2000 to February 2009 for $15 to $30.
