Air bouncer infant chairs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. For a complete list of recalled products, visit www.cpsc.gov.

Units: About 6,500

Manufacturer: BabySwede LLC, of Cleveland, Ohio

Hazard: Small, sharp metal objects found in the padded area of the bouncer chair can protrude, posing a laceration hazard to children.

Description: The recall involves BabyBjörn Babysitter Balance: black/red (#009064US), black/silver (#009065US), dark blue/blue (009066US), brown/beige (#009069US) and BabyBjörn Babysitter Balance Air in white (009001US).

Sold at: Baby product retailers and mass merchants nationwide, online and in catalogs from September 2008 through July 2009 for about $170-$190.

Remedy: Return for inspection and relabeling. If metal pieces are found through inspection, a new product will be provided.
