Fellows in the News

Charles Ball, M.D., FAAP, of Fayetteville, Ark., was elected president of the AAP Arkansas Chapter.

Lewis Barness, M.D., FAAP, of Tampa, Fla., was inducted into the Pediatric Hall of Fame on Nov. 10 in Philadelphia.

Dr. Barness has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the AAP Jacobi Medal, the AAP Lifetime Achievement Award, the Joseph St. Geme Leadership Award, and the coveted Howland Medal of the American Pediatric Society, of which he is past president.
