Work group to tackle issues confronting pediatric subspecialists

The current and future challenges facing pediatric medical subspecialists and pediatric surgical specialists will be addressed by a new AAP work group when it convenes in early June. Members of the Subspecialty Work Group will develop recommendations on how to include pediatric subspecialty care in both managed care and non-managed care situations, according to work group chair Gilbert Fuld, M.D., chair of the AAP Advisory Committee to the Board on Education.
