Pediatricians organize relief efforts in countries hit by hurricane

When members of the AAP Section on International Child Health traveled to El Salvador and Honduras recently to lend aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Mitch, they saw the personal side of last fall's disaster as they:

• met a 19-year-old first-time mother in El Salvador whose 9-month-old child was swept away from her in the flooding;
