Acting on her philosophy that "teen-agers listen to other teen-agers," Marsha Raulerson, M.D., FAAP, put some of her Brewton, Ala., patients to work developing and conducting outreach for Title XXI, the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). "It's so logical," said Dr. Raulerson, who has been in solo private practice for 18 years in a rural two-county area just north of the Florida state line. "You can't do it by yourself, and identifying some older teen-age patients who want to be involved in this is a good idea because they have good ideas and access to other kids."
