Stay-home moms look to peers for assistance

Betsy Crosby, a mother who stays at home raising her two children, believes that she and others like her are misunderstood. "I am not Mrs. Cleaver!" she proclaims.

As many mothers return to work full time to boost their careers and income, the media have boosted the image of the career mom, Crosby says. Super Mom" support groups spring up, attempting to help parents manage their schedules and emotions.
