Federally funded study to examine regional drug abuse programs

About 130 community substance abuse programs will be evaluated during the next three years to determine "what works" in preventing abuse among high-risk youth.

The programs have been funded by the U.S. Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (OSAP) under a three-year, $66 million demonstration grant project.
