Immunizations, sex education targeted for improvement: Answers proposed for access-to-care question

HASTINGS, Neb. -- In this rural region in southern Nebraska, the land is so flat the wind blows unchallenged save for an occassional barn or huddle of buildings outlining a town between miles of open fields.

Absent hills and valleys, the state's see-for-miles terrain typically doesn't make for tricky traveling. For many here, the real obstacles are strewn across the path to proper health care.
